General Children Infants

The staff of the Aiki Summer Retreat and Menlo College guarantee no programs, services, or special facilities for the children.
In the past, Retreat participants with children have organized among themselves and have made arrangements for baby sitting exchanges, etc. Parents are solely responsible for the care, safety, and entertainment of their children.
However, we will make an attempt (no guarantee) this year to organize a babysitter to make training easier for parents.
If you are interested in this kind of service, please contact us as early as possible.

Cost per child for meals and sleeping bag space in parents room: $195. (If they are big enough to eat in the dining hall, Menlo College will require a meal card and this financial arrangement). In the event of a single parent (unless you sign up for single ocupancy), your room is shared with another parent and child. Please understand that there are two beds in each room - one for each adult. No beds or mattresses are provided for the children.
Parents must provide a sleeping bag and pad or
cot for their child.		 No charge. There are two beds in each room, one for each adult - there are no beds or mattresses for the infants. Parents must provide crib or other sleeping surface for child. Unless you sign up for single ocupancy, single parent and child will share room with another single parent & child, or adult who agrees to have a child in the room.

Teens

If they will be training and taking up mat space (minimum age 15 years), they are considered a participant and pay full price. Youngsters in this category are treated as adults and have the same accommodations as any other participant.

Pre-Registration
As in the case of adult participants, children must be registered and payment made in full no later than MAY 7, 2008. If you have any questions regarding children, contact us at aikiretreat@gmail.com.
